Is This Right For You?At Taralan we feel that site specific farming is a more effective and cost efficient way of crop management. Different parts of a field have different soil characteristics and nutritional values. We believe that treating those areas differently will result in increased and consistent yield through out the field. We also believe that all the different components, soil, tillage, plant populations and spacing, nutrition, and weather all interact with each other in very specific ways. Bringing all those components into balance creates a healthy plant that will grow better, be of higher quality, and be able to handle stress better. If you also think these ideas make sense, this may be the program for you. Call us!
How do I Get
Started? |
Some questions to ask yourself?Do I feel that site specific farming is more effective than treating all my fields the same? Would I like to efficiently apply my manure to the fields that need it? Do I feel that I am over or under applying fertilizer and other inputs? Leonard Hoen Jr.
Multifactor client since 1989 Average Yield increase
Corn 15.7% The Multi-factor
System has helped me increase yields on corn, soybeans, and alfalfa. I've
reduced my alfalfa acres but produce more overall tonnage. Closely manageing
manure and fertilizer has helped me reduce costs but still get results.
